We look after YOU

A power of attorney is a document by which a person gives lawful authority to somebody else to handle their affairs on their behalf.

For example, if you walk into a bank and ask to be given some money out of somebody else's account you will probably be declined, but if you have a power of attorney for the person concerned then you would be entitled to the money as that person's lawful representative.

This menu tells you about the different sorts of power of attorney (or POA for short).
